Used this firm to repair the roof after the recent storm. Steve came out at the weekend so I could be present, since my elderly mother is not very good with people she doesn’t know I needed to be present to introduce him. I was happy with the quote and the work was completed within a week of my query with Steve keeping me well informed throughout. I am very happy with the work and the service and will be using this excellent firm again. Happy to recommend them

I cannot speak highly enough of this company. Steve and his crew were polite and professional throughout the whole process. Mine wasn’t a big job, just a broken tile letting in water but I was treated with the utmost professionalism, Chris and Lyle the lads that turned up were SO helpful so a huge thank you to you all. If it was possible to give more than 5 stars, we would ! After another ‘cowboy’ roofing company caused severe water ingress into the loft & upstairs bedrooms, plus multiple ‘no shows’, we pulled the plug on them & found Steve of SDB. A absolute ‘breath of fresh air’ ! Empathic to our plight & made us feel valued as customers. The work was done to a VERY high standard. His work force were all hard working, polite & our property was respected, leaving it all clean & tidy. Steve kept us ‘in the loop’ as to the progress throughout, very professional ! Fantastic service from Steve and his team. Steve came to the rescue when we where let down by a previous roofer half way through the job. He came out the day day after we contacted him, assessed the job (replacing roof bantons, felt and tiles). Explained everything they would do and we recieved a quote by email the same day with a start date. His team made us watertight until work started. They arrived promptly on the day, they were friendly and efficient. Work was completed in 5 days to a high standard. During the work Steve kept us updated with pictures of their progress. Once completed the rubbish was cleared up and the garden was left spotless. Would highly recommend.

Steve was incredibly helpful and really took the time to explain the issues we had with our roof which was causing excessive damp in our garage. He listened to our concerns and was reassuring at every stage. Rob and Connor attended the job and were simply brilliant. They worked really hard to keep to the project timeline, despite the wet weather at the start. They were courteous at all times, clearing up after themselves and they kept the neighbours happy.
